Job summary

IMPACT Initiatives, a humanitarian NGO based in Geneva, Switzerland, seeks an Accounting and Audit Intern to support the Finance & Admin Unit from Geneva. You will assist with monthly accounting tasks, collect and prepare documentation for external audits, and maintain databases up to date.

The role requires Excel expertise, strong English communication, and a Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration. French is a plus; salary is paid monthly in CHF.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the accounting cycle and documentation for external audits.
• Prepare payment vouchers and record in the accounts.
• Support monthly accounting tasks and import files for expenses.
• Screen staff, partners, suppliers to ensure clean records.
• Collect and cross-check supporting documents for audits.
