Zusammenfassung

Swisscom is actively seeking a DevOps professional to contribute hands-on to the development and evolution of a modern Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform built on VMware technologies. You will automate operational activities and improve infrastructure services, collaborating with operations and engineering to boost reliability, efficiency and scalability.

Responsibilities include building IaC with Ansible and Python, enhancing monitoring and automation, and evolving VMware-based services.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of hands-on experience with Ansible, including maintaining and developing roles and collections.
• Strong Python skills and experience developing automation solutions in alignment with CI/CD practices, Git, and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and VMware Cloud Director, as well as experience managing operating systems (RHEL/Windows) and DNS services.
• Experience in monitoring technologies such as vRealize Suite, Prometheus, Grafana, and Logstash.
• Experience analysing operational workflows and automating repetitive tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Curious, flexible, and eager to learn new technologies and approaches.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is considered an advantage
