Zusammenfassung

Join CERN's Deployment and Operations team in the Communication Systems and Fabric Group to coordinate telecom and network infrastructure works across CERN sites. You will collaborate with contractors, users, and technical teams to plan installations, check quality, ensure safety and maintain documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Higher technical diploma or equivalent in Telecommunications, Information & Communication Technologies, Electric or related field.
• Experience in telecom, network, electrical, industrial or technical infrastructure installation environments.
• Ability to coordinate work on site with contractors, users, or technical teams.
• Reading or producing basic technical documentation, drawings or work instructions.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate cabling and de-cabling activities with internal teams and external partners.
• Review cabling requests and clarify needs with requesters.
• Define suitable cable types and routes with users considering local environment.
• Prepare documentation to support the work (drawings, technical plans).
• Contribute to safe working practices and mitigation measures in line with CERN standards.
• Organise logistics for cabling activities (materials, access, equipment).
• Participate in worksite coordination and follow-up meetings.
• Track progress and ensure work is performed safely and with quality.
