YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a Head of Sales for Vacheron Constantin in Switzerland who will be responsible for defining and executing the sales strategy to drive growth, enhance brand presence, and achieve commercial objectives across all distribution channels in the Swiss market.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the luxury watch market, strong commercial acumen, and proven experience in managing both retail and wholesale environments. PLAYING YOUR PART
  • You will develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Swiss market, setting and achieving ambitious sales targets across all channels, monitoring performance, analysing trends, and preparing forecasts and reports for senior leadership.
  • Overseeing our internal and external boutiques, wholesale points of sale, and e-commerce site, you will ensure operational excellence, strong client service, whilst also optimising product assortment and merchandising for maximum sales and profitability.
  • You will also identify further opportunities by cultivating relationships with key clients, VIPs and potential new client segments, as well as closely with Marketing and Communications to develop and execute local marketing initiatives, events and client activations.
  • You embody a human and authentic leadership style that inspires, nurtures and develops a high performing sales team of boutique managers and sales associates fostering a culture of excellence, client centricity and continuous improvement.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?
  • +10 years proven experience in commercial retail leadership in luxury, fine watchmaking or jewellery. A deep understanding of the Swiss luxury consumer and an appreciation of what drives their engagement and loyalty.
  • Strategic thinker and leader, with excellent business acumen who thrives working in a fast-paced collaborative environment and demonstrates agility in adapting to change.
  • Humble, emotionally intelligent leader with a proven ability to inspire, develop and grow high performing teams.
  • Experience in retail, wholesale and partner channels with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in such a multi-channel environment.
  • Fluent in French and English; German is a significant advantage and a willingness to travel within Switzerland.
