The company in Wasen is seeking a Head of Quality to shape the ongoing development of Swiss hand tools and actively design the future. You will lead quality management for the Quality Hand Tools area, implement quality methods, plan audits, and drive continuous improvement across products and processes.

This role requires a technical-mechanical background, several years in quality management for consumer goods, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• Mandatory completed technical-mechanical basic training with higher education at university of applied sciences level.
• Further training in quality management or a comparable qualification.
• Sound knowledge of materials science, especially in the field of steel and steel processing.
• Several years of experience in quality management and quality assurance of consumer goods.
• Very good knowledge of common quality standards and quality methods.
• Strong analytical skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working.

Aufgaben

• Technical and personnel management of quality management in the Quality Hand Tools area.
• Application and continuous development of quality methods including risk assessments at product and process level.
• Planning and execution of internal and external audit programmes as well as supplier audits.
• Support, maintenance and targeted further development of the ISO management system.
• Further development of the quality management system as a strategic management tool.
• Identification and sustainable handling of quality problems and complaints including root cause analysis and effectiveness checks.
• Development of test strategies and test concepts for existing and new products.
• Quality-related support of development projects including investigations on prototypes and pre-series.
• Competent contact and sparring partner for metalworking employees on quality-relevant issues.
• Promotion and sustainable anchoring of a pronounced quality awareness in the company.
