Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the global legal and compliance strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Advise executive leadership on legal risks, compliance obligations, and governance matters.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing legal and compliance team.
  • Oversee governance and entity management, including board/committee support, subsidiaries, and statutory filings.
  • Provide legal guidance on strategic transactions and M&A, including intercompany agreements and high-value deals.
  • Advise on HR/employment law, workforce governance, and policy development.
  • Ensure compliance in corporate services contracts (Finance, IT, HR).
  • Negotiate and manage complex commercial contracts (BPO, BCV, SaaS, NDAs).
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR) and manage employee data privacy.
  • Oversee dispute resolution and client conflict management.
  • Design and monitor compliance programs, including Code of Conduct and risk management frameworks.
  • Drive ethics and integrity initiatives: whistleblowing, anti-bribery, conflicts of interest, and investigations.
  • Report compliance status and risks to senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Law degree and bar admission; additional compliance certifications (e.g., CCEP) preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in legal and compliance leadership roles, ideally in multinational environments.
  • Expertise in corporate governance, commercial law, employment law, and data protection.
  • Proven track record in managing compliance frameworks and ethics programs.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, global context.
