Swissquote, a leading Swiss digital bank, seeks a Head of Internal Audit to build and lead the function from the ground up, reporting to the Board and Audit Committee.

You will define strategy, governance and annual plans, ensure FINMA compliance, manage co-sourcing, and develop data analytics, IT audit capabilities and a lean, digitally enabled audit function across the organisation. This high-visibility role demands independence, professional scepticism and strong talent development.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience in internal/external audit, risk management or related function.
• At least 3 years as Head Internal Audit or Director-level role with board exposure.
• Experience in FINMA-regulated Swiss banking environment.
• English required; French/German an asset.

Aufgaben

• Define and maintain Internal Audit strategy, methodology and multi-year plan.
• Lead governance with Board and Audit Committee, including annual plan and key findings.
• Ensure FINMA compliance and manage co-sourcing/external specialists.
• Develop data analytics, IT audit capabilities, automated monitoring and dashboards.
• Build and develop the Internal Audit team with emphasis on independence and integrity.
