Zusammenfassung

Tecan, headquartered in Switzerland, is seeking a Head of Information Security to lead and shape the IT (Cyber) Security domain. You will define and govern security measures, drive strategy, and collaborate with executive stakeholders.

You will own the ISMS, oversee Security Operations, risk management, and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR, CRA, and related standards in a global environment.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
• 10+ years of Information Security experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience leading enterprise Information Security organisations within an international environment.
• Experience establishing and operating ISO 27001 certified ISMS.
• Strong understanding of enterprise cyber risk management and governance.
• Experience presenting security strategy and risk to executive management and Boards.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365), IAM and Zero Trust architectures.
• Experience managing Security Operations, Incident Response and Cyber Crisis Management.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR, CIS Controls, NIST CSF and CRA.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor, CRISC are highly desirable.
• Fluent English required; German is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Define, own and continuously evolve Tecan's global Information Security and Cyber Security strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and develop the Information Security organization, including people leadership, budgeting, vendor management and capability development.
• Own the corporate Information Security Management System (ISMS) and maintain ISO 27001 certification across the organization.
• Establish enterprise-wide cyber risk management, security governance, policies, standards and security metrics.
• Advise the CIO, executive leadership and senior stakeholders on cyber risks, security strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Drive security architecture and ensure security-by-design across infrastructure, cloud platforms, applications and digital transformation initiatives.
• Oversee Security Operations, Threat Detection, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management and Cyber Resilience capabilities.
• Own Identity & Access Management, Privileged Access Management and Zero Trust initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards (ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR, CRA and industry requirements).
• Define the security roadmap and investment portfolio while balancing business enablement and cyber risk.
• Manage strategic relationships with external partners, auditors and security service providers.
• Promote a strong security culture through awareness, governance and executive engagement.

Your contribution

As Head of Information Security, you will lead and develop Tecan’s IT (Cyber) Security domain, ensuring robust protection against internal and external threats. You’ll drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT security strategies, guidelines, and solutions.
