The Business

We are partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed software business headquartered in the Zurich area.

The company operates internationally and is entering an important next phase of growth, with a strong focus on scaling the business, improving financial visibility and driving operational performance.

As the finance function continues to professionalise, they are looking for a Head of FP+A to work closely with the CFO and senior leadership team.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible role at the centre of the group's financial planning and performance management.

You will take ownership of core FP&A processes while acting as a commercial and strategic sparring partner to senior stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Own and further develop the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
• Lead monthly performance analysis, including actuals vs. budget, variance analysis and rolling forecasts
• Develop management reporting and provide clear insights to the CFO, management team and investors
• Build and improve financial models to support strategic and commercial decision-making
• Partner with business leaders to understand performance and identify opportunities to improve growth, profitability and cash generation
• Develop and track key SaaS/software KPIs, including ARR, MRR, churn, retention and recurring revenue
• Support scenario planning, investment cases and strategic projects
• Help drive the continued professionalisation and automation of FP&A processes and systems
• Support M&A, integration and other value-creation initiatives where required

Your Background

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong experience within FP&A, controlling or commercial finance
• Ideally experience within software, SaaS, technology or another recurring-revenue environment
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities
• Experience owning budgeting and forecasting processes
• Confidence working directly with senior management
• A commercial mindset and ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
• Experience in a PE-backed, high-growth or international environment would be highly advantageous
• Fluent English; German would be beneficial but is not essential
