Agroscope in Switzerland seeks a senior leader to head the 'Climate and Agriculture' Research Group, focusing on climate mitigation and adaptation in agriculture with emphasis on soils as greenhouse gas sources or sinks. • Coordination of a research call within the Agroscope work programme
• Knowledge transfer (active involvement in Agroscope committees, Information events with relevant federal authorities, representing Agroscope at national and international events, mentoring of early career researchers)

• Enthusiasm for strategic research planning and the development of research projects. Ability for systemic thinking across agricultural research areas
• >5 years of professional and managerial experience in the specialist field; exceptional leadership and communication skills; team player; creative, goal- and results-driven personality
• Proof of the ability to acquire external (competitive) funding
• Knowledge of two official Swiss languages and English
