You will design modules for the Food Science bachelor programme and supervise theses, while building networks with industry partners.

Excellent German is essential. The post includes teaching responsibilities, project leadership, and active pursuit of third-party funding to advance applied research and knowledge transfer.

Qualifikationen

• University degree and a PhD in Food Science, Food Technology, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least five years of experience in industrial or industry-related research and development.
• Willingness to obtain a higher education teaching qualification; teaching is predominantly in German.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop a research group in beverage innovation.
• Lead, support and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Plan, manage and coordinate human and financial resources of the research group.
• Acquire third-party funding and oversee applied R&D projects with food industry partners.
• Coordinate teaching modules on the Bachelor's programme in Food Science, focusing on liquid and semi-solid foods.
• Supervise term papers, Bachelor's and Master's theses.
• Promote knowledge transfer and maintain networks with academic and industry partners internationally.
• Contribute to continuing professional development programmes and strategic centre development.
