Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking world-class computer science students to join the Compute Developer Technology (Devtech) team in Zürich. You will research and develop techniques to GPU-accelerate leading HPC applications across scientific computing, engineering, and data science.

You will collaborate with architecture, research, libraries, tools and system software teams to optimize performance on current and next-generation GPUs and contribute to library development and application code.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a MSc or preferably PhD in engineering or CS.
• Programming fluency in C/C++ and/or Fortran with strong software design skills.
• Strong mathematical background in linear algebra and numerical methods.
• Experience with parallel programming, CUDA C/C++, and OpenACC.
• Excellent communication and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop techniques to GPU-accelerate leading HPC applications.
• Perform in-depth analysis and optimization for current and next-gen GPU architectures.
• Collaborate with architecture, research, libraries, tools, and system software teams.
• Translate research outcomes into reusable libraries and software components.
