Qualifikationen

• Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience or PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation experience.
• Experience in physics/simulation software development preferred.
• Experience with GPU programming and heterogeneous computing.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop and integrate GPU algorithms for optical photon simulation in Monte Carlo transport framework.
• Compare and validate GPU results against CPU implementations.
• Develop unit, regression and physics-validation tests.
• Profile applications, identify bottlenecks and optimise performance.
• Collaborate with international Geant4 and LHC software teams to integrate GPU-enabled transport into simulation frameworks.
• Contribute to documentation, maintenance and long-term software quality.
