GMP Officer (QC) | Quality & Compliance Job Description A global life sciences organisation is seeking an experienced GMP Officer (QC) to support quality and compliance activities within the QC function. This role requires strong expertise in analytical chemistry, GMP topics, and the authorship and review of quality-related records, with a particular focus on deviations, change requests, investigations, root-cause analysis, and CAPAs. In this role, you will provide guidance and review of quality-related records and facilitate collaboration between QA and QC to ensure records are completed on time and in line with internal standards. You will also support additional quality-related tasks as required and contribute to a culture of process improvement, problem solving, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Essential Requirements

• BSc degree required
• Preferred fields: Pharmaceutical, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or similar
• Minimum 5 years of experience in analytical chemistry
• Minimum 5 years of experience with GMP topics, including areas such as OOX and data integrity
• Minimum 5 years of experience authoring quality-relevant records, including deviations and change requests
• Experience authoring change requests and investigations, including root-cause analysis and definition of CAPAs
• Experience providing guidance and reviewing quality-related records
• Ability to facilitate effectively between QA and QC to ensure timely completion of records and adherence to internal standards
• Strong understanding of GMP and quality-related processes
• Ability to maintain quality standards while delivering results within required timelinesStrong collaboration and communication skills across teams and functions
• Business-fluent English (Level 2)

Preferred Requirements

• MSc degree preferred
• Beginner-level German (Level 1) preferred
• Experience with investigations, root-cause analysis, and CAPA definition in a GMP environment
• Strong understanding of data integrity and OOX-related GMP topics
