Lonza in Visp, Switzerland, is seeking an intern for Cleaning BioProcess Engineering to support high-volume cleaning validation of large-scale bioreactors, media, buffers and tanks at a GMP facility. The role sits in Operations support and collaborates with Manufacturing, QA and MSAT Cleaning Experts.

This fully site-based internship offers real-time, hands-on experience and exposure to critical manufacturing processes in a leading biopharma environment.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in biotechnology/bioprocess-related field required.
• Strong written and spoken English; German is advantageous.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

Aufgaben

• Prepare, review, and optimize cleaning-related manufacturing documentation timely.
• Review and improve cleaning steps in SOPs and electronic batch records for clarity and compliance.
• Create and update cleaning documentation such as sampling overviews and cleaning plans.
• Support gap analysis and CAPA investigations related to cleaning topics.
