Job summary

World Trade Organization in Geneva invites post-graduate students and recent graduates to join its internship programmes to gain practical experience in the multilateral trading system.

Internships run 3 to 6 months, may split between divisions, and are paid only via daily allowances; travel costs to Geneva are generally not covered. Eligibility includes nationality, suitable degrees, and appropriate enrolment status.

Qualifications

• Eligibility requires national of WTO member or country in accession talks.
• Must have undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline; either be enrolled in a master's with at least one year completed, or have completed a master's and be in a higher postgraduate program, or completed a postgraduate degree within the past two years.
• Ages: at least 21, and no older than 30 for certain programmes; internship lasts 3–6 months.
