Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO AutoChem Inc. seeks a senior R&D leader to define and execute the global R&D strategy for the Automated Chemistry business unit.

You will lead hardware and software development, steer a diverse team across multiple locations, and drive innovation to deliver sustainable business growth. The role requires strong technical and leadership skills, experience in global programs, and a proven ability to translate technology opportunities into measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Eng, Electrical Eng, Engineering, CS, Chemistry, or related field.
• PhD is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own the global R&D strategy and technology roadmap for AutoChem.
• Lead global R&D across hardware, software, systems engineering, and project management.
• Drive development of innovative hardware and software solutions.
• Champion a culture of innovation and engineering excellence.
• Ensure execution of global product development programs and timely time-to-market.
• Partner with Product Groups to align roadmaps and investments.
• Act as a visible working leader, guiding teams across locations.
• Build and lead a high-performing global R&D organization and budget.
• Collaborate with senior leadership across functions to drive business value.
