Your new role

This role offers the opportunity to shape the global launch of a first‑in‑class therapy for sickle cell disease. Whilst leading the brand, you will take full accountability for building the commercial strategy, guiding cross‑functional teams, and ensuring readiness for market entry. Your work will transform clinical evidence into meaningful customer value, driving adoption and long‑term impact for patients worldwide.

Your responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute the global brand and launch plan, including positioning, messaging, and forecast assumptions.
• Define customer segmentation, prescriber profiles, treatment pathways, and commercial KPIs to measure success.
• Lead cross‑functional launch readiness across Commercial Excellence, Medical, Market Access, Patient Support, and Supply.
• Drive pre‑launch activities such as naming, brand strategy, and market positioning.
• Oversee governance deliverables to support investment decisions and activation plans.
• Build market awareness by capturing patient journey insights and converting expert feedback into actionable tactics.
• Manage external partners and agencies to deliver promotional materials and multichannel launch campaigns.

Your skills & qualifications

• 10+ years in the global pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated leadership of global or regional launches; affiliate experience an advantage.
• Master’s degree or higher (science or business preferred).
• Strong commercial acumen, including forecasting, customer segmentation and launch excellence.
• Experience in rare disease and/or haematology (sickle cell disease) preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management in matrix organisations; comfortable engaging KOLs and external agencies.
• Data‑driven, strategic thinker with hands‑on launch execution capability.
