The job in brief
- Job Title: Global Payroll & HR Systems Manager
- Working model: hybrid from Switzerland
- Team: People Operations team
- Level: Manager, reporting to Head of Payroll
- Location: Chiasso, Switzerland
- Contract: Permanent – full-time (EUR 36 h/week)
What your impact will be
- Lead end-to-end global payroll operations for all countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local regulations.
- Own and manage all HR Systems (HRIS/HCM) globally, acting as the primary system administrator and continuous improvement driver.
- Lead global HRIS implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring seamless integration with other internal systems (e.g., Finance).
- Ensure global payroll and HR systems compliance and security protocols are met.
- Manage relationships with external payroll providers and HRIS vendors worldwide.
- Develop and maintain global reporting metrics on payroll, HR data, and systems performance for senior leadership.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for payroll and HR systems configuration and data integrity.
Qualifications
Your expertise
- Proven (at least 7 years) experience in Global Payroll management and HR Systems administration (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle).
- Deep knowledge of complex multi-country payroll processes and compliance requirements.
- Strong experience in leading HRIS implementation, integration, and optimization projects.
- Demonstrated ability to embrace change and challenge the status quo to improve operational efficiency.
- Strong ownership of the global HR Systems perimeter, with the ability to manage priorities and work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills in English is essential. Any other additional language will be considered a plus.
Desirable
- Experience in a travel or tech company environment.
- Exposure to and/or experience with People Operations & Administration in additional European and extra-European countries is a plus.
