Job summary

Bachem Holding AG is seeking a Global Head Quality Systems & Services (a), 100%, to lead worldwide quality systems, eQMS, risk management, training, document management and global quality services across the network.

You will drive a strategic transformation, shape the global quality organization and enable compliant, efficient operations across sites and functions. Fluency in English and German is required, with a strong record in GMP environments.

Qualifications

• University degree in life sciences, pharmacy, chemistry or related field; Masters or PhD preferred.
• 12–15 years in pharma/biotech/CDMO with GMP exposure.
• Global or multi-site leadership in Quality Systems, Risk Management or Training.

Responsibilities

• Lead global Quality Systems & Services across QMS, Risk Management, Training, eQMS and document management.
• Oversee and improve global QMS processes ensuring compliant, harmonized execution.
• Define and maintain global Quality Risk Management framework for risk-based decisions.
• Develop global eQMS and training standards with governance and continuous improvement.
• Build a high-performing global team with clear accountabilities and talent development.
• Provide global quality support to sites and functions with guidance and troubleshooting.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead the global Quality Systems & Services department across QMS, Quality Risk Management, Training, eQMS/document management and Global Quality Services & Support.
• Oversee and continuously improve global QMS processes and platforms, ensuring compliant, efficient and harmonized execution across the business.
• Define and maintain the global Quality Risk Management framework to support compliant, science- and risk-based decision-making.
• Develop and oversee global eQMS, document management and GxP training standards, including governance, oversight and continuous improvement.
• Build and develop a high-performing global team through clear accountabilities, strong collaboration, capability building and talent development.
• Provide global quality support to sites and functions, including process guidance, system support, troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.

Your profile:

• University degree in life sciences, pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology, engineering or a related scientific discipline; Master's degree or PhD preferred.
• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or CDMO industry, with strong exposure to GMP-regulated environments.
• Several years of global or multi-site leadership experience in Quality Systems, Quality Risk Management, Training, Operational Quality Support or related Quality functions.
• Proven track record in driving quality system transformations and improving global QMS, eQMS/document management, deviation, CAPA, change control and training frameworks.
• Strong expertise in Quality Risk Management, RCA methodologies, investigation standards and risk-based decision-making.
• Strong understanding of global GMP requirements, quality system expectations and audit/inspection readiness.
• Strong senior stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills across sites, functions and leadership levels.
• Excellent English & Germanskills are required
