Job summary

Tecan Schweiz AG in Männedorf, Zürich invites a seasoned finance leader to head Group Controlling and FP&A. You will partner with the CFO, steering budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision support across the Group.

Role demands deep experience in FP&A, controlling, and international leadership, with a track record in planning models and performance management. M&A exposure is a plus and governance in IFRS/statutory reporting is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Controlling and broader Finance leadership roles.
• Strong experience in financial planning, forecasting, performance management and business partnering.
• Proven leadership experience in an international industrial environment.
• M&A and post-merger integration experience is an advantage.
• High integrity and accountability.
• Strategic and analytical thinker.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Group budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Develop planning models and scenario analyses.
• Provide financial insights for strategic decisions.
• Drive performance management and reporting.
• Lead Finance & Controlling for Operations, R&D, and Global Functions.
• Act as strategic partner to senior leaders.
• Challenge business plans and financial assumptions.
• Develop controlling teams and promote accountability.
• Ensure accurate and timely closings.
• Support global Accounting & Reporting (IFRS/statutory).
• Support CFO reporting to Management Board/Board of Directors.
• Standardize and improve planning and reporting processes.
• Drive automation and advanced analytics.
• Lead financial due diligence and valuations for M&A.
• Support post-merger integration.
