Job summary

Omya AG is seeking a Group Finance Governance leader in Switzerland to drive IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER compliance, own accounting policies, and oversee the Accounting & Reporting Manual. You will partner with auditors and cross-functional teams to address complex transactions and governance improvements using SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards and data analytics.

The role requires five years in group finance or audit, a Swiss CPA, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Swiss CPA qualification is required.
• Minimum five years of experience in Group Finance, Financial Governance, Audit, or Accounting.
• Deep understanding of financial governance principles, internal controls, and valuation methodologies.
• Profound practical knowledge of IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER.
• Experience with SAP ERP (S/4HANA and/or ECC); experience with OneStream is beneficial.
• Proven ability to work effectively across functions and drive initiatives.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Group financial governance and ensure compliance with policies and reporting standards.
• Own and maintain Group accounting policies and the Accounting & Reporting Manual.
• Act as SME for IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER and complex accounting matters.
• Monitor regulatory developments and coordinate new requirements.
• Lead assessment of acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and financing arrangements.
• Oversee impairment testing, significant accounting judgments, estimates, and position papers.
• Partner with auditors and stakeholders to ensure policy application and audits.
• Drive governance improvements via data analytics and SAC dashboards.
