The World Health Organization in Geneva seeks an Epidemiologist (P3) for the Malaria and Neglected Tropical Diseases program to lead applied analytics for burden estimation and evidence-based guidance.

Under the Strategic Information for Impact unit, you will coordinate with regional offices, develop analytical methods, contribute to the World Malaria Report, and support operations with data-driven insights.

Qualifikationen

• Essential: degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related topic.
• Desirable: Master-level or higher degree in Epidemiology/Biostatistics or related field.
• Expert knowledge in epidemiology and biostatistics; strong data analysis capabilities.

Aufgaben

• Design, plan, and implement applied analytics to support malaria/NTD decisions and guidance.
• Contribute to the Annual World Malaria Report with data management and analyses.
• Review analytical methods and improve burden estimation approaches.
• Prepare outputs for internal/external review and publication readiness.
• Lead sections on analytics in the World Malaria Report including methods.
• Collaborate with partners to develop malaria/NTD data guidance for operations.
