Job summary

AO Foundation in Davos seeks an experienced accountant to manage daily activities, support monthly and annual statements, and contribute across departments. You will enhance workflows with Excel and Power BI in a collaborative, international setting.

The role requires Swiss KV or equivalent, several years of accounting, and strong numeracy. German and English skills are essential; the organization supports language development and flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Swiss KV or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Several years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach with process improvement mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an international environment.
• Excellent written and spoken German and good English; English courses supported.
• Team-oriented with initiative and composure in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including accounts receivable and payable, payments, and reconciliations.
• Support monthly and annual financial statements preparation and provide cover for team members.
• Contribute expertise to cross-departmental projects.
• Use and develop Excel and Power BI skills.
• Investigate discrepancies and propose practical accounting solutions.
