The Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation in Graubünden invites applications for a GIS / IT Specialist to join the GIS Competence Centre in Chur. The role focuses on building robust data pipelines, WebGIS solutions, and geo-services for cantonal administration and public use.

You will work in an interdisciplinary team, using modern technologies, with opportunities to influence deployment workflows and integrate open-source and cloud technologies.

Qualifikationen

• University or applied sciences degree in geoinformatics, computer science, data science, geography or a related field.
• Experience with modern IT architectures, relational and spatial databases (PostGIS) and Python/SQL.
• Willingness to learn, analytic mindset, and rapid practical implementation of ideas.
• Initiative, reliability and a solution-oriented working style.

Aufgaben

• Design, development and automation of robust data pipelines for integration and transformation of complex geodata.
• Design, development and further development of WebGIS solutions and geo-services.
• Establishment and further development of modern workflows to speed deployment and release processes.
• Advising cantonal departments on technical integration of geodata and evaluating new open-source and cloud technologies.
