Role Description

The German Teacher role at LTG Academy is a part-time, on-site position located in Zurich, Switzerland. The German Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons for learners at various proficiency levels, using effective teaching methods and appropriate instructional materials. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classes, assessing learner progress, providing feedback, and adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance, collaborating with colleagues to enhance curricula, and supporting a positive and professional learning environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide high-quality German Teaching and Tutoring to learners at different levels.
• Strong Teaching and Training skills, with experience in classroom or small-group instruction.
• Background in Education, including knowledge of language acquisition principles and instructional design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Relevant teaching certification or degree in German, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience teaching German, ideally in an adult education or academy setting.
• Organizational skills to manage lesson planning, assessment, and documentation efficiently.
• Proficiency in German at a native or near-native level; good command of English is an advantage.
