Zusammenfassung

Lombardi Engineering Group is seeking a Project Engineer to drive the design, execution and delivery of challenging infrastructure projects in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree with geotechnics specialization, 7 years in geotechnical design, experience with Rockscience and PLAXIS/FLAC, and strong analytical and communication skills for large-scale tunneling and foundation works.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in geotechnics.
• Minimum 7 years in geotechnical design for large-scale projects.
• First experience in preparing technical-economic proposals.
• Good knowledge of geotechnical and structural analysis for tunnels, slopes, foundations, containment structures, dams and underground works.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Italian.

Job Description

• Design and plan geotechnical engineering solutions in soil and rock for complex projects with some or minimum support.
• Participate in geotechnical investigation campaigns, interpreting tests and monitoring technical data for decision-making.
• Prepare technical reports, define deliverables and ensure compliance with schedules and quality standards.
• Carry out technical site visits, collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams, and propose innovative and efficient solutions for each challenge.
• Capability of collaborate with cross-discipline project teams in the delivery of special packages for complex projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering and specialization in geotechnics.
• Minimum experience of 7 years in geotechnical design, preferably in engineering, consulting, linked to large-scale projects. First experience in the preparation of technical-economic proposals.
• Good knowledge in design and geotechnical and structural analysis applied to tunnels, slopes, foundations, containment structures, dams and underground works. Analytical, organized and results-oriented profile, with good communication skills and ability to work in a team and solve problems.
• Good proficiency in the use of technical software such as Rockscience and PLAXIS/FLAC.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Italian.
