Jobup in Geneva seeks a Gemmologist / High Jewellery Back Office to manage high jewellery projects from launch to delivery, interfacing with internal teams, workshops and suppliers. You will select stones, ensure quality and traceability, and coordinate certificates with top gemmological labs.

The role requires a certified gemmology qualification (GIA preferred), proven experience in high jewellery or production environments, and fluency in French with strong English.

Qualifikationen

• Certified gemmology qualification; GIA Graduate Gemologist preferred
• Proven experience in high jewellery, jewellery, watchmaking or similar production environment
• Fluent French and advanced English (C1) mandatory; IT tools and ERPs proficiency expected

Aufgaben

• Participate in management of high jewellery projects from launch to delivery
• Select and inspect precious stones for quality, compliance and traceability
• Coordinate certificates with gemmological laboratories (GIA, SSEF, Gübelin, GRS)
• Check conformity of pieces after workshop delivery (stones, hallmarks)
• Monitor deadlines with partner workshops and ensure traceability in ERP
• Prepare quotations by pricing stones and manufacturing costs with workshops
• Ensure data reliability for projects, stocks, flows and costs in ERP
