Fabienne Levy is seeking an experienced and dynamic Gallery Director to lead its Zurich gallery. The role covers day-to-day management of the gallery, driving sales, expanding the collector base in German-speaking Switzerland, and coordinating exhibitions and events while representing

Qualifikationen

• Minimum five years’ professional experience in a commercial art gallery.
• Proven experience in art sales and collector development.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken; French is an advantage.
• Based in Zurich with a strong knowledge of the local art and cultural landscape.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and solution-driven.
• Comfortable working independently, taking initiative and managing multiple priorities.
• Strong knowledge of and genuine enthusiasm for contemporary art.
• Availability for occasional evening and weekend events, as well as travel to art fairs.

Aufgaben

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Zurich gallery and be the main on-site contact.
• Drive sales and develop long-term relationships with collectors and prospective clients.
• Expand the gallery’s collector base and network in Zurich and German-speaking Switzerland.
• Present the gallery’s artists, exhibitions and programme confidently and engagingly to visitors, collectors and art professionals.
• Coordinate exhibitions, installations and openings with artists, studios, suppliers and the wider gallery team.
• Oversee sales administration and operational follow-up, including offers, invoices, contracts and transport.
• Represent the gallery at art fairs, openings and professional events, contributing actively to its visibility and development.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Zurich gallery and act as the main point of contact on site
• Drive sales and develop long-term relationships with collectors and prospective clients through proactive follow-up, tailored proposals and negotiation
• Expand the gallery’s collector base and professional network in Zurich and German- speaking Switzerland
• Present the gallery’s artists, exhibitions and programme confidently and engagingly to visitors, collectors and art professionals
• Coordinate exhibitions, installations and openings with artists, studios, suppliers and the wider gallery team
