Zusammenfassung

WinGD Ltd. in Winterthur invites a seasoned Expert Classification Future Fuels to join our engineering team. You will engage with classification societies, organize design and type approvals, and advise engine manufacturers on new fuel technologies.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, deep knowledge of 2-stroke diesel and dual-fuel engines, and willingness to travel. English fluent; German advantageous; you will work in a global, agile environment with cross-disciplinary

Qualifikationen

• Degree in mechanical engineering (BSc., MSc., Dipl.-Ing. or equivalent).
• Profound knowledge of 2-stroke marine diesel / dual fuel engines and technologies.
• Willingness to travel abroad a few times per year.

Aufgaben

• Maintain / establish relationships to classification societies.
• Organisation of Design- and Type Approvals for WinGD technologies.
• Support of internal units and engine manufacturers in classification related matters.
• Procurement, self-study and storage of rules and standards from classification societies and normative institutes, with a focus on new fuel technologies.
• Actively shaping the development of international- and class rules regarding new fuels, as far as possible.
• Maintenance of Classification Portals and internal IM tools.
• Maintenance of Spare Part Lists and Parts Acceptance Databases.
