Job summary

CERN is seeking a full-stack software developer with DevOps experience to join the Web, DevOps and Authoring section in the IT-PW group. You will contribute to OpenShift/OKD4 based Platform as a Service infrastructure and to the CERN .CERN top-level domain hosting.

Responsibilities include integrating .CERN domain handling, certificate procurement and automation, and developing features for Web infrastructure services such as the Web Services Portal and site information retrieval.

Qualifications

• Experience with full-stack development required.
• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams.
• Studies in Software or Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support and integrate the handling of the top-level domain .CERN, including certificate procurement and automation of certificate renewal.
• Implementation of features for the CERN Web infrastructure services, including the Web Services Portal and extensions to hosting mechanisms used for .CERN sites.
