Zusammenfassung

CERN operates a cutting-edge virtual research environment platform and related services. You will work on building and maintaining Jupyter extensions, contributing to the auth layer, and enhancing production-ready Helm charts within a hybrid CERN Kubernetes setup.

You will engage with Rucio, REANA, Zenodo, and CVMFS ecosystems, collaborate across teams, and help deploy scalable, reproducible analysis tools for researchers in Europe.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with Python and Linux development environment.
• Familiarity with container tech (Docker) and Kubernetes (Helm).
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices.
• Exposure to authentication/AAI tech (OAuth2/OIDC, INDIGO IAM).
• Open-source contributions and ability to learn new tech.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain Jupyter extensions for Rucio, REANA, and Zenodo in production.
• Support Competence Centre through workshops, training, and documentation.
• Contribute to authentication/authorisation layer aligning with federated-identity standards.
• Review and consolidate VRE Helm charts with monitoring and metrics.
