LGT Private Banking in Lugano, Switzerland seeks a Full Stack Developer to shape a modern CLM platform. You will design backend services with Java and Spring Boot, build RESTful APIs, and contribute to frontend with TypeScript. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into sustainable solutions.

The role emphasizes quality, security, CI/CD, and incident resolution in a greenfield project within a leading private banking group.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of software development experience with Java and Spring Boot, RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including data modelling and performance considerations.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and automated build/test/deploy processes.
• Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes; experience with GitOps tools and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Ideally frontend familiarity with TypeScript and Web Components.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana) and production troubleshooting.
• Experience with BPM engines such as Flowable, Avaloq Static Data or AMI Web Service.
• Knowledge of CLM, KYC/AML or banking is a plus.

Your challenge

CLM Nova is our strategic Client Lifecycle Management platform. It supports bank-wide processes across client onboarding, KYC, ongoing reviews and complex approval workflows. As a Full Stack Developer, you will actively shape a modern, secure and regulatory-compliant platform in a greenfield environment within an established financial institution.

You will take ownership throughout the product lifecycle, combining modern software engineering with a strong understanding of processes, data and user experience.

• Develop, enhance and operate solutions for Client Lifecycle Management processes, from onboarding and KYC to ongoing client reviews and approval workflows.
• Design and implement scalable, workflow-driven backend services using Java and Spring Boot, as well as robust RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Develop relational data models and persistence layers using SQL and JPA/Hibernate, ensuring data integrity, performance, auditability and data-retention requirements.
• Contribute to the development of modern, component-based user interfaces using TypeScript and Web Components.
• Analyse and resolve complex incidents, defects and issues across backend services, databases and integrations, helping to ensure a stable platform.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and domain experts to translate business and regulatory requirements into sustainable technical solutions.
• Take ownership of features and technical decisions, contribute to architecture and engineering practices, and ensure quality, security and compliance through automated testing, code reviews and CI/CD processes.

Your profile

• Several years of experience in software development with Java and Spring Boot, including the design and implementation of RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including data modelling, schema design, transactions, indexing and query optimisation, complemented by experience with JPA/Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD workflows and automated build, test and deployment processes, for example using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes; experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP is an advantage.
• Ideally, experience in frontend development with TypeScript, Web Components and API-driven, modular user interfaces.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging and alerting, for example using Prometheus and Grafana, as well as an interest in production-oriented troubleshooting, is welcome.
• A structured, solution-oriented and collaborative way of working; experience with BPM engines such as Flowable, Avaloq Static Data or AMI Web Service, and knowledge of CLM, KYC/AML or banking, is a plus.
