Medartis in Basel is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join the Digital Solutions team and help evolve a modern medical platform. You will translate clinical needs into technical solutions, develop Java web APIs with Spring Boot, and build Angular-based front ends with TypeScript and WebGL/3D capabilities.

You will work across the full software lifecycle, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and ensuring code quality, testing, and security. Fluency in English or German is expected.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or comparable education.
• Experience with Angular and ideally WebGL or other 3D technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents and LLM-based development tools is an advantage.

You will work across the entire software development lifecycle, from translating business and clinical requirements into technical solutions to architecture, full-stack development, testing and continuous improvement. Working closely with interdisciplinary teams, you will combine modern web technologies with sophisticated 3D applications.

Your responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable and stable Java web APIs using Spring Boot.
• Develop modern web applications using Angular, TypeScript and WebGL/3D technologies.
• Translate business and clinical requirements into clear and practical technical solutions.
• Make AI-assisted development work in practice: use AI coding agents in your daily work, review and validate what they produce, and build the guardrails, tests and review practices that keep AI-generated code secure and maintainable.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical direction across complex distributed Systems.
• Ensure high standards of quality and security through unit testing, automated end-to-end testing and code reviews.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to continuous improvement of our products and engineering practices.
