Zusammenfassung

Experis Switzerland in Zurich is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to take ownership of complex frontend solutions using React and TypeScript for enterprise-scale financial applications.

You will collaborate with UX/UI designers, ensure performance and security, and work with distributed back‑end systems, Docker/Kubernetes, and Azure, in an agile, fast-paced environment. Start date is as soon as possible; duration six months with possible extension. EU citizens or valid Swiss permits only.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with design systems and large, shared component libraries.
• Unix/Linux environments and bash scripting proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex frontend solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and long‑term maintainability
• Partner closely with UX/UI designers and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into intuitive, high‑quality user experiences
• Deliver high‑quality, production‑grade React and TypeScript code for complex financial applications
• Address advanced frontend challenges such as state management, performance optimization, and integration with distributed backend systems
• Proactively refactor and modernize existing codebases where required
• Support troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis in both development and production environments
• Contribute actively in an agile, fast‑paced, and highly collaborative environment

Qualifications

• Extensive, hands‑on experience in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a strong focus on React at enterprise scale
• Deep understanding of modern frontend ecosystems, tools, and frameworks (React, Node.js, build tooling)
• Proven experience working with design systems and large, shared component libraries
• Solid understanding of Unix/Linux environments and bash scripting
• Experience in the financial services or other highly regulated industries is a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Exposure to API security, OAuth2, and related standards
• Excellent analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills
• Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to influence technical direction
• Proven ability to thrive in agile, cross‑functional teams
