Job summary

Compass Group (Switzerland) AG in Zürich is seeking a Service/Front of House staff member for a 50% position. You will manage the cafeteria during service hours, prepare the buffet, assist guests and maintain cleanliness.

You will work Tuesday to Friday, being the contact for guests and supporting internal catering and events. The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication in German and English, and a service-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Ideally, you already have professional experience in gastronomy or a service profession, e.g. as a service employee or in sales
• You are team-oriented and have an efficient working style with the highest standards of quality
• You are a positive and service-oriented personality with high social competence and a winning manner
• Good German and English skills (spoken and written) to communicate flawlessly with customers

Responsibilities

• You look after the cafeteria during service hours
• Your working days are Tuesday - Friday
• You are responsible for the mise en place at the buffet and in the guest area
• You are the contact person for guests; competently answering questions and concerns
• Carrying out replenishment and tidying tasks as well as general cleaning duties
• Helping out at the coffee bar and supporting internal catering / events
