GF Industry and Infrastructure Flow Solutions, a division of GF, seeks an Innovation Engineer - Data Center Cooling (m/f/d) to own front-end development from concept to feasibility for polymer components. You will interface with product management, R&D, and customers, translating market needs into robust technical concepts and product profiles.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Plastics Engineering or similar).
• 6–9 years of experience, incl. ≥2 years in data center cooling.
• Strong expertise in Direct Liquid Cooling and fluid dynamics.
• Proven ability to design robust thermal systems and assess structural integrity.

Aufgaben

• Take end-to-end technical ownership from idea generation through concept development, prototyping, feasibility validation, and manufacturability, esp. for polymer components.
• Serve as the front-end interface between Product Management, R&D and customers.
• Translate market needs into robust technical concepts and target product profiles.
• Prepare structured front-end deliverables and support specification development for handover to R&D teams.
• Perform engineering analyses such as pressure-loss calculations and thermal assessments.
• Analyze system layouts and isometries to support dimensioning and integration.
• Build application know-how to unlock new business opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Portfolio Management, and customers to shape innovative solutions.
