Job Title: Franchise and R&D Communications Manager

Location: Zug or Lausanne

Join Galderma and lead global communications strategies for our premium portfolio and R&D pipeline.
We are seeking a Franchise and R&D Communications Manager to develop and execute 360° communications plans (paid, earned, social, live) supporting Galderma’s brands across Injectable Aesthetics, Dermatological Skincare, Therapeutic Dermatology, and our Research & Development pipeline.

This is a highly visible, hands‑on role that engages with multiple stakeholders, including cross‑functional brand teams and senior leadership. Business acumen, collaboration, and the ability to provide strategic counsel while delivering tactical programs are key to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop global brand PR & communications strategies in collaboration with brand leads and align opportunities across business units and R&D.
  • Manage day‑to‑day global communications activities, including support for medical congresses, regulatory milestones, product launches, press conferences, media interviews, and consumer outreach.
  • Contribute to company news flow and coordinate announcements across platforms.
  • Build and nurture relationships with international trade and consumer media, influencers, and key industry partners.
  • Identify potential brand and franchise‑related issues and develop proactive management strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for storytelling, executive visibility, and thought leadership.
  • Develop ready‑to‑use communications assets and toolkits for market activations, ensuring alignment between affiliates and global teams.
  • Support development of internal and external content for senior executives, including media interviews and thought leadership pieces.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or Communications (Master’s degree a plus).
  • 5–10 years of experience in PR and/or consumer communications, preferably in health or beauty industries.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
  • Ability to manage agencies and partners effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adept at storytelling and content creation for various channels.
