Givaudan in Vernier (Geneva) seeks an Industrialization Chemist & Laboratory Manager to advance manufacturing processes for fragrance ingredients. You will lead lab-scale development, scale-up to pilot and production, and support transfers to plants with green chemistry approaches.

The role requires a PhD in Chemistry and strong organic/inustrial chemistry background, plus experience in project leadership, collaboration across departments, and English fluency (French is a plus).

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Chemistry from a recognised institution.
• Strong experimental and theoretical expertise in organic chemistry.
• Solid expertise in industrial organic chemistry.
• Experience in chemical reaction engineering is beneficial.
• 5+ years of experience in an industrial environment is beneficial.
• Fluency in English; fluency in French is an asset and willingness to learn.

Aufgaben

• Develop safe, sustainable and competitive manufacturing processes from lab scale to production.
• Support production teams during transfer of new processes to plants.
• Propose and implement green chemistry technologies across scales.
• Utilise PAT, DoE and data mining for data-driven industrialization.
• Act as reference expert for fragrance ingredients and drive improvements.
• Lead industrialization projects with internal and external partners.
• Mentor laboratory technicians and ensure EHS standards.
• Prepare project reports and formal procedures for lab and pilot scales.
