Experis Switzerland in Zürich is seeking an embedded firmware engineer with 5+ years of industry experience to join a hands-on hardware team. You will own firmware bring-up, power/clock sequencing, and ARM Cortex-A/AArch64 targets in FPGA-based SoCs.

Strong C skills, bare-metal/RTOS experience, JTAG debugging, and experience with Xilinx MPSoC/Versal and Vivado tooling are essential. You will collaborate closely with design partners to drive issues to closure.

Qualifikationen

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of industry experience in embedded firmware development.
• Strong C fundamentals with bare-metal or RTOS firmware on ARM Cortex-A/AArch64.
• Experience developing firmware for FPGA-based SoCs, ideally Xilinx MPSoC or Versal.
• Board bring-up experience from the firmware side including power and clock sequencing.
• Hands-on JTAG debugging and boot image creation to eMMC/SD/flash.
• Oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for probing hardware/software issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
