Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern invites applications for a Fine Dining Service Trainee at Colonnade, our two-Michelin-star restaurant, starting April 2027. Based in Luzern, you will deliver personalized luxury service, understand the menu, and support service before and during seating.

You will work in a fast-paced, prestigious environment, with opportunities to learn about wine, food pairings, and high-end hospitality under Michelin standards. English fluency is required; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Fluency in English required; German language skills are highly desirable.

Aufgaben

• Deliver exceptional and personalized service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
• Assist with preparation, setup, and mise-en-place of Colonnade before service.
• Welcome and escort guests, present menus, and provide detailed knowledge of menu items and beverages.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally to requests.
• Support the team in serving food and beverages to the highest fine dining standards.
• Maintain understanding of food and beverage pairings to advise guests confidently.
• Ensure tables are impeccably presented and maintained throughout service.
• Handle guest inquiries with professionalism and escalate concerns when needed.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and food-handling standards per company policies.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and service teams for flawless service.
