Job Description
The Financial Controller will assist the CFO in controlling financial processes, coordinating reporting, and consolidating financial data from various entities. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Implementing and improving financial processes.
  2. Managing quarterly reporting for multiple entities.
  3. Supervising accounting processes such as AP, AR, GL, VAT, taxes, payroll, and petty cash.
  4. Conducting intercompany reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  5. Executing intercompany re-invoicing via the head office.
  6. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with affiliate accounting departments.
  7. Providing support and training to local accounting colleagues.
  8. Creating and implementing common accounting and financial guidelines.
  9. Identifying and proposing continuous improvements to financial processes and ERP systems.
  10. Preparing short business plans for new capital expenditures.
  11. Ensuring compliance with company rules and policies (QHSE, ETHICS, FCPA).

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in accounting or finance, with 3-5 years of experience in accounting and financial control.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • Experience in supervising and training accounting teams.
  • Ability to travel to various regions as required (10-25%).
