Zusammenfassung

Oe International AG in Zug seeks a Financial Accountant to help build an in-house Finance function and manage the full accounting cycle across international operations.

You will handle AP/AR/GL, monthly, quarterly and annual closings, VAT returns, and cash management while collaborating with colleagues and external partners. Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, Swiss accounting rules, and fluent German and English are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Swiss Federal Diploma or equivalent qualification in Finance and Accounting.
• At least four years of professional experience in financial accounting.
• Broad accounting experience and understanding of the full accounting cycle.
• Good knowledge of Swiss accounting principles and VAT requirements (IFRS a plus).
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Fluency in German and English, written and spoken.
• Structured, accurate, hands-on mindset with collaborative working style.
• Interest in improving processes and creating structures in an evolving organization.

Working closely with the Finance Director, you will help bring key accounting activities inhouse

and establish reliable structures for our international business.

Rather than focusing

on one isolated area, you will work across the accounting cycle and connect operational

processes with their financial impact.

What you will make happen

In this broad and hands‑on role, you will take ownership across the accounting cycle and help shape the processes behind it. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
• Understanding our end‑to‑end business flows and ensuring they are accurately reflected in accounting.
• Taking an active role in monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Preparing account reconciliations, payment runs and VAT returns.
• Supporting cash management and maintaining transparency over our financial position.
• Working with international transactions, currencies and cross‑border business processes.
• Collaborating with colleagues, customers, suppliers and external partners across different countries.
• Supporting the transition of accounting activities from external service providers to our internal Finance function.
• Helping develop efficient processes, internal controls and clear responsibilities
• Using SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and contributing to the continuous improvement of our Finance setup.
• Supporting management reporting and turning financial data into useful business insights.
• Working closely with auditors, tax advisers and other professional partners.

What will make you successful

• A Swiss Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Finance and Accounting (eidg. Fachausweis Finanz- und Rechnungswesen) or an equivalent qualification.
• At least four years of professional experience in financial accounting.
• Broad accounting experience and a solid understanding of the full accounting cycle.
• Good knowledge of Swiss accounting principles and VAT requirements (IFRS is a plus).
• Practical experience working with SAP is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
• A structured and accurate working style, combined with a pragmatic, hands‑on mindset.
• The curiosity to understand the business processes behind the numbers.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and partners across functions, cultures and countries.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to take ownership and contribute your own ideas.
