Job summary

ABB in Baden, Switzerland is seeking a field-based Service Technician to lead and perform service assignments for automation and electrical systems. You will prepare materials, identify issues, and coordinate with customers to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in automation or electrical engineering, with fluent German and basic English, and willingness to travel within Switzerland. A valid driver’s license and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as an Automation Technician, Electrician, Electrical Installer, Electrical Planner or comparable technical qualification.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in automation, electrical engineering, or a related technical field; UPS systems experience is a plus.
• Fluent German and basic English for professional communication; willingness to travel and work weekends as needed.
