Zusammenfassung

Bühler Gruppe in Niederuzwil, Switzerland, seeks a Service Engineer to perform on-site inspection, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and customer training of Bühler equipment, plus automation/electrical remote support when required.

You will promote after-sales activities, spare parts and retrofit upgrades, and support the Sales team with technical investigations and site visits, while preparing detailed reports with photos for clear documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the process industry and automation & electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of sales and service in process engineering operations to recommend Buhler products.

• Perform automation and/or electrical remote support when required by customer.
• Promote and support after sales activities with active spare parts and retrofit upgrade sales.
• Support Sales team in term of technical, investigations and site visiting.
• Standby for requisitions from internal & external.
• Liaise with production sites and regional team for technical support and back up.
• Regular communication with customer representatives from technician to management level.
• Prepare written reports in full details of the service activities including pictures and explanation of the trouble process.

These are the skills you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the process industry and automation & electrical engineering
• Technical knowledge to understand customer needs: Sufficient technical background to understand client processes, not only machines but overall transformation process and operations processes
• Knowledge of sales and service in process engineering operations to recommend customers in Buhler products
