• Ability to create work-product outputs, including PowerPoint decks, Excel models, articles, or other written deliverables.
• Exceptional time management to meet responsibilities in a complex, autonomous environment.
• Ability to travel to varying environments that may be challenging.
• Working or studying experience in Switzerland is a must.
• Strong communication skills, adjust style to seniority levels.
• Fluency in German (Zurich) or French (Geneva) and English are required.

Working alongside clients and other McKinsey colleagues, you’ll combine research, analyzing data, interviews, and brainstorming to generate fresh insights and breakthrough solutions. This group brings together the best of McKinsey’s Tech & AI capabilities to help our clients use digital technology to transform their businesses. As part of this group, you’ll join a global team working on everything from IT modernization and strategy to agile, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. You’ll typically work on projects across all industries and functions and will be fully integrated with the rest of our global firm.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, information systems, technology or any other related fields with outstanding record of academic achievement
• Internships or first work experience, ideally in an area with exposure to technological topics (software engineering, cloud computing, cyber security, IT architecture, agile, transformation etc.)
• Strong interest to explore the breadth of technology related topics
• Excellent organizational capabilities, including the ability to initiate tasks independently and see them through to completion
• Ability to create work product‑focused materials / outputs, which may include PowerPoint decks, Excel models, articles, or other written deliverables
• Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment
• Ability to work or attend meetings outside of traditional business hours or take on projects with limited or no notice at times
• Ability to travel to and work in varying environments that may be challenging and/or not accessible (e.g., factories, hospitals, mines)
• Working or studying experience in Switzerland is a must
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels
• Fluency level language skills in German (for Zurich) or French (for Geneva) and in English are required
