ATLAS facility at CERN is seeking a versatile Facility and Safety Support Technician to help manage operations during Long Shutdown 3 (2026–2030). You will liaise with detector teams, support waste management, and contribute to safety on site to help ensure a smooth detector installation.

You will coordinate waste sorting, provide packaging materials, monitor site activities, perform safety tours, inspect equipment, and carry out shifts in the ATLAS control room.

Aufgaben

• Manage waste at the ATLAS facility, including sorting and container logistics.
• Provide packaging materials and support transport to CERN.
• Organize temporary storage for consolidation projects.
• Monitor site activities and promote safety awareness.
• Ensure safety equipment availability and inspections.
• Perform shifts in the ATLAS control room.
• Carry out scaffolding inspections.
• Provide versatile technical support to safety and infrastructure teams.
