Job summary

Bramwith Consulting seeks an experienced ETRM Implementation Program Manager to lead end-to-end transformation for a European oil trading group. You will orchestrate design, build, migration, testing and stabilization across integrated ETRM and ERP environments, with governance, risk, and stakeholder alignment.

The role requires 10–15+ years in complex programs, experience with major CTRM systems, and multi-country delivery. Remote with travel to Switzerland as needed, 2-year day-rate contract.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of complex transformation / program delivery experience with proven experience leading at least several major end-to-end ETRM implementations
• Knowledge of going through vendor selection processes and assessing major oil trading E/CTRM systems (Aspect, Symphony, Allegro, Endur, RightAngle)
• Proven delivery of transformation programs with multiple vendors
• Strong knowledge of physical energy / commodity trading environments, specifically crude oil and refined products
• Good understanding of the complete trade lifecycle
• Ideally experience integrating ETRM with ERP platforms and complex physical/logistics landscapes
• Experience managing major systems integrators and software vendors
• Experience delivering across multiple countries/business units

Responsibilities

• Create and own the integrated ETRM/ERP implementation plan, milestones, critical path and dependencies
• Set up program governance, SteerCo, workstreams, decision forums and escalation mechanisms
• Manage scope, budget, resources, risks, issues and dependencies
• Coordinate other project managers involved in the project
• Provide clear executive reporting on progress, decisions, risks and delivery confidence
• Hold vendors and internal teams accountable for committed deliverables
• Ensure implementation remains aligned with Supply & Trading Target Operating Model
• Govern requirements, solution design and configuration, challenge customization and protect fit-to-standard wherever possible
• Manage functional areas including trade capture, pricing, physical logistics, inventory, exposure, hedging, MtM/P&L, credit and settlement
• Ensure refinery and physical-product flows are properly represented in the solution
• Build ownership within Trading, Supply, Operations, Risk, Finance and Wholesale
• Coordinate training, communications and organizational readiness
• Manage stakeholder expectations across legacy VARO and legacy Preem organizations

Job description

ETRM Implementation Program Manager – 2 Year Contract – Based from anywhere in Europe

European integrated energy powerhouse trading business, formed through the merger of 2 leading European energy trading businesses, seeks an ETRM Implementation Program Manager to lead their imminent ETRM vendor selection and end-to-end implementation on an initial 2 years day rate contract basis.

Based from anywhere in Europe, so working remotely, you will need to be flexible on travelling to Switzerland about 1 week per month. So you could be based in London, Zurich, Geneva, Amsterdam, Madrid, Stockholm, Dusseldorf etc etc working remotely with some travel when needed.

Day rate is open for the right person + flight and accommodation when travelling to work on-site i Switzerland.

• You will be the Program Manager and lead the end-to-end implementation of a single strategic ETRM platform across the 2 merged businesses, including ERP changes to accommodate the architecture
• Translate the agreed Target Operating Model and target architecture into an executable transformation program
• Own delivery from mobilisation and design through build, migration, testing, deployment and stabilization
• Ensure the program is delivered within agreed parameter on time and budget
• Coordinate multiple implementation waves, geographies and business areas
• Act as the central interface between business, IT, ETRM vendor, implementation partners and senior management
