Zusammenfassung

CERN in Geneva seeks an Equipment Management Database Specialist to ensure accurate recording of CMS equipment in the EMdb. You will bridge field inventory with the database, maintain tools, and develop dashboards for asset traceability and data quality.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in CS or Applied Physics or related field, strong SQL and data-management skills, and the ability to work onsite with CMS teams.

Aufgaben

• Synchronise EMdb with installations and decommissioning of equipment.
• Interface field inventory activities with the Equipment Management Database to reflect all changes.
• Maintain, support and enhance EMdb and its applications; develop dashboards and visualisation tools.
• Improve usability, functionality and efficiency of the EMdb and asset traceability.
• Support field operations to ensure coherence between equipment and database inventory.
• Collaborate with CERN Enterprise Asset Management to align processes across CERN infrastructure.
