Zusammenfassung

VARO Energy Marketing AG in Baar/Switzerland seeks an EPM Solutions Architect to own OneStream implementations across planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and reporting.

You will work with Finance, Technology and external providers to design, implement and support scalable OneStream solutions, including data integration and performance enhancements, with a focus on AI-enabled capabilities for insight-driven finance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IS, CS, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience implementing OneStream or a comparable enterprise performance management platform.
• Experience delivering full-cycle OneStream implementations and supporting the platform in a production environment.
• Strong functional and technical knowledge of OneStream, including business rules, platform administration, data integration and reporting.
• Working knowledge of ETL technologies, databases and enterprise system integrations.
• Good understanding of core finance processes, including FP&A, budgeting and forecasting, financial close and consolidation, management reporting and record-to-report.
• Experience supporting finance transformation, ERP or enterprise planning initiatives.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to both finance and technology audiences.
• Collaborative, self-motivated and delivery-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Interest in emerging AI capabilities and how technology can enable more efficient and insight-driven finance processes.
• Previous experience within consulting or professional services.
• Experience with OneStream Marketplace solutions and related implementations.

• Develop and improve business rules, data integration processes and system performance.
• Support data conversion, validation, balancing and reconciliation activities during implementations and enhancements.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues and assist with releases and platform administration.
• Provide technical guidance and QA to junior team members and share knowledge.
• Ensure solutions comply with methodologies, governance, quality and risk management standards.
• Contribute to development of internal OneStream capabilities, methodologies and best practices.

EPM Solutions Architect

The Position

The EPM Solutions Architect plays a key role in the development, implementation and ongoing optimisation of VAROPreem’s OneStream platform, supporting critical finance processes across planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and management reporting. Working closely with Finance, Technology, external service providers and business stakeholders, the role takes end-to-end ownership of OneStream solutions – from understanding business requirements and designing solutions through to implementation, deployment and ongoing support.

The role is well suited to an experienced OneStream professional who combines strong technical expertise with a solid understanding of finance processes and enjoys translating business requirements into practical, scalable solutions. It offers broad exposure to finance transformation and enterprise planning, as well as the opportunity to shape how OneStream capabilities – including emerging AI-enabled functionality – are used to support a more efficient and insight-driven finance organisation.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of OneStream implementations, from requirements gathering and solution architecture through development, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.
• Manage interfaces with external service providers, internal subject matter experts and super users to ensure reliable day-to-day operations and efficient delivery of system improvements.
• Configure and develop OneStream solutions, including cubes and dimensions, workflows, security models, metadata structures, Cube Views, dashboards, business rules and reporting capabilities.
• Build and enhance solutions supporting planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation and management reporting.
• Design and implement data integrations between OneStream and ERP, HR, CRM and other enterprise applications.
• Develop and continuously improve business rules, data integration processes and system performance.
• Support data conversion, validation, balancing and reconciliation activities as part of implementations and system enhancements.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues and support application releases and ongoing platform administration.
• Provide technical guidance and quality assurance to junior team members, supporting knowledge sharing and capability development.
• Ensure solutions and delivery activities comply with established methodologies, governance, quality and risk management standards.
• Contribute to the continued development of internal OneStream capabilities, methodologies and best practices.

Your Profile
